The hotels used on our tours will meet the standard of a good, three-star European hotel. Rooms will have private bathrooms, telephones and TV. The vast majority will also have tea- and coffee-making facilities. There will always be a bar or restaurant on site or nearby.
The New Yorker Hotel, New York City (nights 1-2)
Positioned in the heart of midtown New York, this hotel, housed in an art deco building, is ideally located for exploring the sights. Each comfortable guestroom has a TV, a hairdryer, an iron, and Wi-Fi, and boasts views of the city, river or Empire State Building. A retro diner is open 24/7, and there is an Italian restaurant and a steakhouse, as well as a gym.
Sheraton Suites, Alexandria (nights 3-4)
Overlooking the Potomac River, this sleek hotel is positioned in the old town within walking distance from an assortment of restaurants, museums and galleries. Polished guestrooms encompass air conditioning, TVs, tea/coffee-makers, safes, hairdryers, mini-fridges and Wi-Fi. Guests have access to a 24/7 fitness centre, and an on-site restaurant and bar serving classic American cuisine.
Fairfield Inn & Suites, Williamsport (night 5)
A relaxed hotel within an easy walking distance of the downtown area and a handful of restaurants and bars. Comfortable guestrooms have TVs, minifridges, microwaves, tea/coffee-makers, and Wi-Fi. A fitness center and indoor swimming pool are available to guests.
Sheraton-on-the-Falls, Niagara Falls (nights 6-7)
With incredible views of Niagara Falls, this high-rise hotel is also linked by a skywalk to the Niagara Falls Casino and an indoor waterpark. Guestrooms feature contemporary décor, a TV, a tea/coffee-maker, and free Wi-Fi is available. There are two restaurants, a Starbucks, a sandwich shop, a wine bar, an ice cream shop, a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a spa.
