Escorted tours and holidays to Tuscany

Dining in Tuscany, Italy

Epicentre of the Renaissance and home to some of Europe’s most beautiful landscapes, it’s easy to see why Tuscany retains its pull as a holiday destination. The region’s charm is unparalleled, and in a country known for its stunning landscapes, great food, and impressive cultural institutions, tours of Tuscany still manage to stand out.

Tuscan holidays can encompass anything from vineyard tours (complete with tastings, of course) to spending the day wandering through buildings older than most countries, to admiring art that’s inspired countless future creatives. Tours of Tuscany can help you to decide what in this expansive, treasure-filled region you see, but no matter whether you go on a food tour or simply lounge by the sea, you’re sure to be amazed.

Meander through Florence, check out the leaning tower of Pisa, or lounge on the beach at Castiglione - you can do it all. An escorted Tuscany tour can guide you through the eight World Heritage sites in the region, as well as past other amazing sites just as worthy of that designation. And that’s before we even mention the 120 plus protected nature reserves, where you can hike through trails or admire the lush plant life that makes Tuscany so beautiful. Truly a little bit of paradise.

Whether you're a history lover, foodie, or nature enthusiast, our collection of Tuscan tours and holidays offers something to suit every traveller.

Food & Drink in Tuscany

The vineyards between Siena and Florence produce some of the best wine in the world, most notably Chianti. Take a tour of any of the vineyards in this region and stay for a tasting so you can experience the best of this nectar of the gods.

Tuscany is known for producing truffles, the delicacy that’s worth its weight in gold. San Miniato, between Florence and Pisa, is renowned for this purpose: you can take a guided walk around town that ends with some sampling of the tasty delights.

Because it’s so full of livestock, Tuscany has some incredible meat on offer. Beef from the Chiana Valley is some of the highest quality found anywhere in the world, so make sure to try any dishes that utilise this local ingredient. Our favourite is the famous Florentine Steak, which is only available rare and by the kilogram.
