Marine Hotel, Hermanus (night 2)

You’ll find a host of wildlife, including the Big Five at this private game reserve. The lodge has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and spa. The guest rooms are air-conditioned and have either a balcony or patio, tea- and coffee-making facilities, fridges and microwaves.

Surrounded by pristine seafront coves, this hotel offers exceptional views of Mossel Bay and is within a stone’s throw of the harbour town’s centre. De Zalze Lodge Hotel, Stellenbosch (night 7)
This Dutch vernacular-style lodge stands opposite a golf course. It has a pool, a restaurant and a bar, and all the guest rooms have private facilities, TV and tea- and coffee-making facilities. (On selected departures you will stay at the Stellenbosch Hotel, instead.)
